Photography
Any photos of mine are available for print. If you’d like one printed, just contact me with the title of the photo and your desired dimensions for the print, and I’ll respond back with the time and price.
Some photos aren’t available for print simply because I’ve lost the original images in little hard drive accident I had a while back. Luckily, most photos are printable, and are denoted by the “Request Print” button above them.
The View From Here Tue, Jun 3rd 2008 8:53 pm
My posts are few and far between, I understand. But every once in a while I find both the will and the time to take a photo. I framed this one with my fingers — in that very lame way that photographers do — while washing the dishes in my […]
Going Up Tue, Mar 4th 2008 7:30 pm
More of Steph, as promised.
Taken on an elevator at the Old Mill in Etobicoke, this is one of many photos I took for her mom’s wedding. She (and everyone else) was looking stunning. It was all very movie-like.
Initially, when invited to attend […]
Fuzzy Green Rocks Sun, Feb 10th 2008 8:20 pm
I didn’t want to post this one because I wasn’t really all that pleased with it. But looking back on it now, it reminds me of a better time… Summer, that is. God I miss it. And its fuzzy green rocks…
Steph Thu, Jan 24th 2008 9:03 pm
As promised, here’s a photo. Now, I did neglect to mention that Steph was of Eskimo descent. But, once I got past the fish breath and the sight of her eating raw meat, it’s hawt knowing that my girlfriend can defend me from giant seals. Plus, she […]
Good Evening Mon, Aug 20th 2007 8:09 pm
Another shot off Lakeshore in Oakville. The wind striking the ropes, wires, and chains hanging off the of masts turned each boat into a very large wind chime. With the hundreds of boats along the docks, it was very orchestral.
I’ll let the photo […]
A Different Perspective Fri, Aug 17th 2007 11:12 pm
After visiting the Lakeshore area today at lunch, I had an irrepressible urge to return to it with my camera. I couldn’t spot any good shots while I was there, which in itself got me thinking that it’d been way too long since I’d looked through a […]
Bandit Sat, Aug 11th 2007 11:13 pm
Taken at the zoo in Orono. This ‘coon was in a tiny cage with wires spaced well enough that we could pass him sticks and pine cones to play with. We were also able to walk right up to the cage, so I shook his paw a few times.
Raccoons are, […]
Rolled Gold Fri, Jun 15th 2007 1:16 pm
Technically, this photo could serve as evidence of my trespassing on this farmer’s field, but I HAD TO.
This guy was perched atop a bale of hay about 100 feet into the field, so I slowly made my way to it, begging him to stay put while I kept my […]
Just a Number Thu, Jun 14th 2007 6:39 pm
I saw this in my viewfinder and laughed to myself as I remembered the dozens of television and radio ads describing people’s frustration with banks and other institutions treating them like numbers.
At least they don’t tag our ears. Or eat us.
They Grow Up So Fast Tue, Jun 12th 2007 7:59 pm
This is what I found on the front deck the other day; an actual PILE of baby spiders.
I don’t know how large these guys will get, but my arachnophobic mind was envisioning a couple dozen of these guys attacking and devouring a small horse. Still, […]
Heads Up Thu, Jun 7th 2007 10:32 pm
This feller nearly met his maker courtesy of my left foot. It’s a good thing I was being wary of cow pooh or I’d have let my foot fall as intended; nearly tripped trying to avoid him.
Laying casually on the leaf, blissfully unaware of how close […]
Mid-Chew Tue, Jun 5th 2007 10:43 am
I was trying to come up with some long-winded, articulate description for this photo, but gave up pretty quickly.
Basically, cows are adorable, and this is photographic evidence of that fact. Even with flies up their noses. Cute as […]
A Half-Granted Wish Sat, Jun 2nd 2007 9:44 am
This is another from yesterday morning, and while it probably isn’t very symbolic to many people, it’s pretty nonetheless!
Dare To Go Left? Fri, Jun 1st 2007 9:15 pm
I’ve recently been inspired to reacquaint myself with my camera. So, this morning, I packed up my gear and hauled off up the road I usually follow with my bike.
This is an HDR of a scene I faced on my way home. To the left, the ominous shade of […]
Cat Nap Sat, Apr 28th 2007 11:04 am
I was the first one up this morning, and this is what I found when I drowsily stumbled into the bathroom.
Usually Pinkle waits on the countertop for someone to set the tap to “drip mode” so she can catch the drops with her tongue; that’s how she […]
The Nose Knows Tue, Apr 24th 2007 8:26 pm
When we got Tyra, I was pretty excited to own a breed of dog that was notorious for having a kick-ass nose. Then, one day on the baseball field, my hopes of employing her to sniff out things I’d lost were suddenly dashed.
We were playing “500” on […]
Blaspheming Hooligans Sun, Mar 25th 2007 10:59 pm
Earlier this week, I was reminded that I’d half-agreed to visit Sean in Kincardine. Immediately, my stomach began to eat itself while my brain compiled a list of “cons”: I’d be three hours away from home, staying with five others in a place built […]
Unsanitary Sun, Mar 18th 2007 10:25 am
Here’s one to break the dry spell. A negated HDR of some Q-Tips®.
Self Portrait Tue, Mar 6th 2007 6:29 pm
I took this for use as a profile picture on Facebook and MSN. I never really intended to post it here, but it turned out pretty well and I think I’d like it archived.
The shot is a composition of three exposures into one HDR photo, which explains […]
Out of Line Sun, Mar 4th 2007 8:10 pm
Here’s a photo to break the dry spell. Nothing crazy this time, but still a pretty one. Took it in early January, I think while on the same trip as that windmill photo of mine.
The sun was setting, so there’s actually less colour adjusting going […]
Winter in HDR Sat, Feb 17th 2007 10:46 am
Yesterday, not having done so in a while, I took my camera and tripod for a walk. The weather had warmed up to a nice -5 degrees Celsius, and the sun was just on its way down, so conditions were pretty much ideal.
I took three shots using […]
