I finally captured a postable photo of a blue jay. I have many others, but they were ruined by branches and fences. Even this one’s sort of blurry and very noisy at high resolutions, but it looks decent at this size.

Flower shots soon, I hope.

   Awesome picture, congrats.
   I am a friend of Chris and I don’t know whether he has mentioned it or not but I love to bird watch and truly appreciate the patients and care it takes to capture a beautiful picture, such as the one you have taken. Blue Jays are one of the hardest birds to capture on film as they tend to scare easily; I know this as I have tried several times with no success. Another challenging bird is the Yellow Finch, I have seen one or two lately, but more will soon follow. Good luck with your future endeavors and happy clicking.
