Neko on the Porch » Sat, Apr 16th 2005 6:42 pm
Yeah, nothing vague about that title. This is Neko on our front porch. I like this for the brightness and the detail in the old wood. That may or may not be visible after my site has resized the image, but it should be slightly.
I’ve ordered some lens spacers for my camera (for non-optic equipment, they’re frickin’ expensive) which basically go on as a lens, then the lens goes onto them thus creating more distance between the lens and the censor. The effect is much greater zooming power, and they’re supposed to turn my 18-55 lens into a sweet-ass macro lens. Close-ups of ladybugs! It’s either going to be awesome, or hugely disappointing. Despite my luck with these sort of chances, I’m banking on the former. They were recommended by a dude on PhotographyReview.com, and I’d imagine those guys know their shit.
So there, something for everyone to look forward to; even the thousands of search-engine spiders that visit my site on a daily basis.
