These three mice were saved by Steph on the same trip to Manitoulin. Rat poison killed their mother, but somehow they were alive and (mostly) well, running around and squeaking in the trailer’s air conditioning unit. One by one, of the course of hours, we spotted and rescued each of them and put them in a box.

Only two of them survived the trip home, but they (Gus and Leela) are still alive and well, living in a pretty sweet Ovo-designed mouse house at Steph’s place. I’ll have to get photos of them all grown up. One day…

    Nice picture. I love rats! I had a little guy named Wizzer growing up. He eventually grew a tumor the size of his head and died.

    Aww I made myself sad.
