I suppose ‘rewriting’ would be the better word. In my 11th-grade computer science course, I wrote Pong in the 3rd dimension (in Java), inspired by the 3D pong on aaron-wright.com, but with a cleaner, less ‘alien’ look.

I’ve spent the last two days re-learning what I knew about Java so I could re-write my 3D Pong game. The old one was fairly inefficient and made stupid use of objects. That’ll be changed in this version and should facilitate modifications such as little bonuses floating in the arena like loops or power-ups and whatnot.

When it’s done, I’ll be posting it on the site. Sorry it’s not Flash, but I’m not learning Action Script. I hate the Flash interface…

PS: I fing hate birds. I hear them chirping in the trees but can’t see them. Then, they fly down and land perfectly-posed onto fence posts and fly the f away as soon as I get them in the viewfinder. I made to employ some sort of gaseous sedative… I will get a bird picture.
